ADP Remote - new product development


ADP Remote is a standalone windows product that can be used optionally with ADP, and which will allow Web designers and consultants to remotely manage content blocks on their websites or those of their clients.

ADP users would be able to control existing ADP projects from the desktop according to the client needs. In standalone mode without ADP the interface allows selection or insertion of contents for swapping in and the configuration of other aspects of the content.

Three "modes" of content display will be available - a built-in DHTML layer, directly embedded content and in conjunction with Advanced DHTML Popup where a project can be imported. The actual display content can be anything at all within these modes of display.

Main Features

In the initial beta release not all these features will be available and will be added according to user response to this ground-breaking product. The newsletter will keep all users informed.



  • Client-server-client relationship between the desktop application, a server side MySQL database and the web browser client. Projects are configured or modified in the application and then the changes submitted to the server where they will take immediate effect in the webpage.
  • Highly structured scheme of Publishers, Projects (per webpage), Instances of content per webpage and multiple contents assigned to instances optionally for the purpose of rotation etc.
  • Automatic synchronization with the server as the application is used on different machines at different times
  • Statistics and reporting interface making queries in real-time to the database
  • Capture events and impressions from the different instances of content, e.g the number of impressions, the number of clicks etc, all automatically fed to the database and made available to the application reporting interface.
  • Assign content URLs and redirect URLs to each content
  • Set rotation parameters for the contents in each instance
  • Use in a standalone mode with a DHTML layer or with ADP projects imported. In either case choose per instance on a webpage the embedding type to be layered or directly embedded, in other words it is possible to combine in one page these methods.
  • Single button update of server with all publisher settings, and subsequent real-time change in the webpage.
  • Only a single line of code is needed in the header of the webpage and any anchors needed for the content blocks
  • Single purchase of application with certain number of database records (impressions/clicks etc) per month free. Ability to update this number with annual fee.
