ADP Video plugin

You can use ADP Pro to make any video content you want as it is now, most easily by linking the content to an external file (see URL option in the methods section) which contains the video project - i.e. a web page which has the video, the player and any embedding script used already set up and working. If it is a simple swf player and video embed, then it can go straight into the content (see the templates for an example).

With this plugin (current version supporting a single player, the default Adobe® Flash® Player) however you can easily configure player parameters and flashvars from a new form directly into the project. This plugin (requires ADP Pro) makes adding Flash® video including alpha-transparent video into the popup content easy and simple.

It is under rapid development with the first of multiple new templates now completed. Near future releases (available as free upgrades) will include templates for all major players out there, including of course the hugely popular, powerful & lightweight Transparent Player which has its own WordPress Plugin Templates.

The plugin uses script to embed the video properly into the content and avoids the tiresome "Click to activate and use this control" alert that pops up in Internet Explorer whenever Flash is used.

What the plugin adds to ADP Pro

• A new template for loading into Advanced DHTML Popup Pro, under a new templates folder "videos"
• A new menu item "Video" which leads to a form for filling out the video width/height and all other parameters. This will be added to with more forms for popular players.
• A demo using an actual alpha transparent video included with the plugin
