Advanced DHTML Popup Free Code - News ticker

This News Scroller or ticker may be directly embedded in the page or into an Advanced DHTML popup. The content is embedded in an iFrame which may be conveniently attached to any point of the page.

In this page are three examples running simultaneously - the first two embedded in the page and the third in a popup. The one in the right hand column displays some testimonials and the other below displaying a feature list. Scrolling with the page is the news ticker embedded in a DHTML Popup (lower right).

The color, padding, speed, size etc are all controlled by the call to the news scroller function or the css file for the content.

Installing is a simple matter of one line of HTML in the page and uploading 2 script files and a content file to your server.

Instructions:

1. First download the code here
2. Unzip the file to some folder and run index.html for the demo
3. Open the file myScrollingContent.html in an editor and add your content into the div
   <div id="myScroller1">. Change the background color and padding in the css at the top of the file.
4. Open the file dfsNewsTickerInit.js in an editor and change speed and top-padding if desired:
   
   new dfs.nsc("myScroller1",1,10);
   
   Where the syntax is as follows:
   
   new dfs.nsc("divID",speed (integer >= +1),top-padding):
   
   
5. Add the scroller into your page wherever you want:

6. Upload the page, the content file and the 2 small JavaScripts to your server and test.
